| Click here to learn more about the first of the WE Series Community Youth Lock-Ins!Youth ServicesMark your calendars! The WE Series of lock-ins are being scheduled for Martin and Orange Counties. Thank you to all who participated in the first of the WE Series! Each series of the Lock-Ins will provide participants the Red Cross training and certification in Intro to Disaster Services, CPR/AED, First-Aid, wilderness survival, emergency shelter management, to name just a few. The three part series that will be delivered to all three of the Hoosier Hills Chapter counties of Lawrence, Martin, and Orange will cover the following types of disasters that strike these counties every year.
Experts in these topics will be speaking at each Lock-In to inform the Youth of what the current weather condition is, what weather conditions cause these types of disasters, and examples of the damage that these conditions cause. The Lock-Ins will also have the pleasure of including speakers from our local police department, fire station, and ambulance workers who will familiarize our Youths as to the services they each provide.
